Since closing our office space to visitors, we have been working to help our community get through the COVID19 health crisis. We have identified a number of ways we will be offering aid in the coming weeks:
- Partnering with the NEK Collaborative and other regional partners to develop a set of resources for easy access to services and opportunities. Find our COVID19 Toolkit here. Volunteer opportunities available in our area can be found here. Both documents are open for input, so please add to the list!
- The Leach Public Library's wifi is on and available. Simply park outside on the curb and connect.
- We are asking volunteers to sew personal protective wear for our local hospitals use. Dartmouth Hitchcock's pattern and specifications are found here. You can donate the sewn materials directly to North Country Hospital. There is also a drop off receptacle inside the rear entrance of the Old Stone House Museum office building.
- The VT Folklife Center has an amazing online recording system you can use to record your experiences during the COVID19 health crisis. Find their portal here.
